Biased Indexing

One of the reasons I got interested in blogging was stumbling upon the amazing variety of topical blogs including the "Knitters for Bush" blog. However, if you run a Google search for "Knitters for Bush", the resulting hit list consists mostly of links to knitters against Bush. As a librarian, I'm bothered by this, but I am not surprised. It is not merely poor indexing, it is liberal-biased indexing!

Mustang Mama,
I see you have a blog now, last I checked you didn't. Interesting how indexing works....or cataloging for that matter. I remember in library school I wanted to do a study comparing library collections, using OCLC to determine bias...my Professor acted like this would be impossible...it probably would have been to easy! Are you listed on SHUSH's blog? Get listed, you'll get traffic.
